![]() ![]() It's not that the traps are frustratingly hard to spot or avoid, it's just possible to become completely disoriented at times because the levels are so huge. Even though the level design is very good and at times inspired (check out Elemental Fury II), the levels are massive, complex and incredibly difficult. ![]() ![]() You'll be chugging through temples and tombs this time around, rather than the dark, murky churches and crypts of yore, though there are some of those included. So how does Dissolution of Eternity, the second mission pack, stack up to the original and first mission pack? Not too badly, in my opinion.ĭissolution of Eternity features a bunch of new levels, a lot of which have an Egyptian kind of feel. Because of it's new features and amazing design, it was better than Quake. The mission pack was overwhelmingly awesome, featuring new levels with incredible and inspired texture and designs, new enemies and some really great weapons like the laser rifle and the big hammer that emitted lightning. Hipnotic gave them more with their mission pack Scourge of Armagon. After the enormous success and popularity of Quake, fans wanted more. ![]()
